For all you Jane fans who've been keeping your fingers crossed that Jane would FINALLY have some romantic good luck, this is the issue for you. Jane gets lucky despite herself. Meanwhile, Jill gets sent on assignment to the snowy Sierras, Chelle begins her search for Rachel, Natalie is back and even Dixie makes an appearance. Then, Jane returns home after a slightly kinky night in the city with Dorothy, only to discover that her trailer has been invaded by the floral print loving Dixie. After a very sleepy Jane returns to her desk at the paper she is hit upon by Sandy to do a "beach" story for the arrival of spring. This little trip to the coast brings up memories of another, late night, drive to the coast with Chelle. Jane is snapped back to the present by Skye. Who knew Skye was a surfer?... And who wouldn't like to be Jane, helping her out of that wetsuit?! Meanwhile, in non-coastal regions, we check in with Jill, on assignment.

In the final chapter, love interests collide as both Dorothy and Skye show up at Jane's house for dinner, meanwhile, Chelle has a lead on Rachel and enlists Jill's help... But a surprise awaits them both in Sedona!

Bad girl, Jill, has come back into Chelle's life and has stirred up some old wounds for Chelle and certain members of Chelle's family. Jane gets talked into attending a furries convention with her ex, Talia, and then gets sent out on location for a montster truck rally. Jane's mom pays a surprise visit to the trailer park. Since Jane isn't "out" to her family so she and Ethan pretend to be a couple. Unfortunately, no one is buying the act any longer.

Lesbian drama and monster trucks... it just doesn't get any better than that!

Jane, Talia, Dorothy and Chelle wrap up their desert road trip. While snoozing in the back seat, Chelle revisits an altogether different desert adventure in a flashback to Vegas, 1999. Chelle's cover gets blown in an undercover cop and she thinks she's been left, by Jill, to fend for herself with a pack of undesirable wenches. Meanwhile, Jane's desk at work has been converted into the snack station for the newsroom and Dixie and Ethan begin the death march to break-up city. Dorothy offers Ethan romantic advice, but when Dixie sees Ethan crying on Dot's shoulder she assumes that Dot is offering more than advice. Chapter one ends with Jill and Chelle (topless) getting reacquainted. Which of course leads to alien abduction... That's abduction by aliens from outer space, not foreigners.

Jane Bond makes her first appearance in this fun-filled issue. See art imitate life and life imitate dreams, which always seems to happen in Jane's World. This issue also features a foreshadowing of the Jill that is to come as Jane and Chelle once again go head to head. Those two can't seem to stay away from each other... Even in their dreams. Jane decides it's time to get proactive about her job, love life, fashion sense... Dorothy signs her up with a life coach and Chelle offers assistance with a make over. Shallow Breast Guy makes a guest appearance and takes over the strip for a day and if that isn't scary enough, Jane's ex-G from college shows up out of the blue... she's a whole lot hotter than she was when she and Jane dated... and there are other surprises as well. Jane's Ex, Talia decides to stay for awhile... Bringing up all sorts of subliminal, emotional baggage for Jane. Then, Talia and Dorothy decide it would be a nice way to celebrate this little reunion if they all join Chelle on a Desert getaway camping trip. Of course this little trip turns out to be an adventure in more ways than one. Vol. 3 also includes a bonus chapter at the end of the book... A seven page flashback to Jane and Chelle's first night together. Didn't you ever wonder how that happened? This little chapter never aired during the regular appearance of the comic on Comics.com...
